Scripture
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5 NASB
Observation
Today is part two of our study of Proverbs 3:5. At first reading this verse may seem so straightforward and easy that so many may just read over it and miss some of the meaning and richness. I am taking a deeper look and trying to observe some of the finer points found in this verse of scripture. Yesterday we got through a good study of "Trust in the LORD". Today let's pick up at "with all your heart". Again, easy to understand, but let's think more about this to see if we can find the real truth that God is giving us here. The verse says to "Trust in the LORD with all your heart. This means don't just trust in the LORD with some of your heart. This makes sense. It is asking us to give our full trust in the LORD and do not just have a somewhat committed attitude toward God, but have a complete trust in Him. So we can have full trust in God, when we are good and when we are bad - when we are here and when we are there, and know from Joshua 1:9 that He is with us everywhere. To Be Continued ....

Prayer
Father God, thank you for this day, and this, your Holy Word. I pray that you will teach us and give us deep insight into you, and teach us more and more that we can learn of you as we study your Word. Please bless us, guide us, and direct our steps with you to a successful day. Shalom Brothers and Sisters in God and Jesus Christ.
